Why We Serve
1 Peter 4:10-11
“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies - in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.”
For almost two thousand years, God’s people have faithfully served in the church. They have been driven by a love of God and a desire to glorify him. May we be quick and zealous to serve each other in this church; may our service flow from a passion for Christ; and may it be characterized by great joy and thanksgiving. There are countless opportunities to serve here at Lifepoint and the roles below hardly scratch the surface. It takes the entire family working together to function well.
